Inkholt · Effective June 7, 2026
Inkholt is designed to keep your writing private. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
Notes you create in Inkholt are stored locally on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, in your own private iCloud account (Apple's CloudKit private database). This data is synced by Apple between your devices. The developer of Inkholt cannot access, read, collect, transmit, or sell your notes.
The developer collects no personal data. Inkholt contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. The app does not create developer accounts and does not transmit your content to any server operated by the developer.
Inkholt Pro is an in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; the developer does not receive or store your payment information.
iCloud sync is provided by Apple and is subject to Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy. You can turn iCloud syncing on or off in macOS System Settings.
Inkholt is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
